Top Grammy Awards 2013 Nail Art.

What’s an awards show these days without funky nail art to go with the assortment of gowns and hair? Music’s finest females had some of the most covetable manicures at the Grammys and these were some of them.

Kelly Rowland. Rowland used two nail colors for her manicure moment, combining a steely metallic polish with a peachy pink hue.

Carrie Underwood. Underwood brightened up her black gown with her metallic red mani, and single bronze accent nail.

Katy Perry. With all eyes on nominee Katy Perry's dress, she kept her long digits simple in a blush tone.

Jennifer Lopez. Presenter Jennifer Lopez's chic gold, pointed nails were as blinged out as her jewelry.

Rihanna. Rihanna's manicurist painted a red-orange that perfectly matched Rihanna's Azzedine Alaia dress.

Taylor Swift. Swift told E! host Ryan Seacrest that she brushed on her glitter top coat just 15 minutes before she hit the red carpet. Not bad for a DIY job!

Miranda Lambert. Country singer Miranda Lambert's glittery nail art was the perfect addition to her navy Roberto Cavalli dress.

Carly Rae Jepsen. The nail look for the Song of the Year nominee's polish is made with genuine diamond dust. She also added an arty accent on her pointer finger—topped off with two black diamonds.

Florence Welch. Nominee Florence Welch kept her nails long and pointy at this year's Grammys, laquering up in a sparkly, gold polish that accentuated her gold jewelry.

Worst Trends Of 2012.

E! Fashion Police recently released the following trends as the worst to happen in 2012 and requested help on ushering them out leaving room for new ones in 2013. Are these some of YOUR worst trends of 2012.

Peplum. You know, those little shelves that somehow make your hips look massive...unless you're Jessica Alba.

Jumpsuits. Eva Longoria, we love you, but do you really need an outfit that doubles as a flight suit? Why wear that: Just in case somebody suddenly invents jet packs?

Cat stuff. Hello, kitty. Goodbye, kitty.

Going pantless. Yes, Rihanna, we get it: You're hot. But we bet you're also freezing.

Dip-dyed ends. From Christina Aguilera to Lauren Conrad, tons and tons of stars tried on the trend this year. The result: Tons and tons of stars got mistaken for Ke$ha.

Tangerine. It's a lovely color. But like our mom says, eating too much of anything will make you sick.

Low-crotch pants. Hey, maybe Justin Bieber really needs all that room in the crotch area. Or maybe it's time to stop with the wishful thinking.

Over-the-top manis. Seeing a star sporting a super-long or diamond-encrusted manicure was kind of entertaining...the first eight times. But right about now, a simple bottle of Revlon is looking pretty good.

Top-to-toe leather looks. We get all sweaty just looking at outfits like this one, sported by Kerry Washington.

On the Fall /Winter 2012 runways, designers echoed the colors of their collections onto models’ hands, sending the message that it is more than okay to be matchy-matchy when it comes to your clothing and nails. From neutrals to nailart, here’s a few inspirational picks from the most covetable runway manis perfect for this time of year.

Red.
When it comes to the color of the season, burgundy was it. So it comes as no surprise this was a big nail color tend too.

Nail Art.
Nail art was taken to a whole new level, from a hardcore medieval spin to DIY-looking tribal to midnight black, there's no shortage of imagination this season. For a serious over the top wow-factor, this can be your best bet.

Nail Art!

Nails have always been extensions of our personalities and the nail polish that used to adorn them was not only as a form of expression but identification too especially where black nail polish was concerned- you would know someone is a rock star by spotting black nail polish. Before,  a perfect manicure entailed well shaped, clean and polished nails with a particular color to match an outfit or to simply express oneself.
Today, Nails are more than that. They have become accessories in the form of nail art! Not only are they long, nails now sport elaborate and decorative designs a faraway trend from the norm we were used to. A manicure is simply not a manicure anymore when there are so many designs for one use on their nails. The more creative the better.
From floral, velvet to fruits; the name of the game when it comes to nails is Nail Art!
